Wedgewood Weddings at the PRESIDIO is hiring a Head Banquet Chef! Our Chef oversees all aspects of our culinary operation, including banquet service, menus, costing, sanitation requirements, scheduling, ordering, inventory, etc.
- Prepare and execute dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Manage kitchen operations, including ingredient sourcing, inventory control, and equipment maintenance
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in catering or high volume dining establishments
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Strong creative and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Pay Rate: $89,000-$100,000 plus additional bonus plan

- As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
