Position Title: Web Developer/Designer

Location: Full-Time, On-Site position, Monday – Friday, Day Shift Position
Position Summary:
The Website Developer position is responsible for developing, managing, maintaining, and supporting company websites, including ensuring smooth technical implementation and performance, best-in-class user experience, and reliability across all website platforms. This individual will be a key team member, providing expertise and insight into best practices for building a strong back-end foundational infrastructure that brings front end creative features to life.
Position Responsibilities:
- Configure, set-up, and test changes to code in development, test, and production environments.
- Create page templates for use on the front end with functionality/design elements that include carousels, hero sliders, media cards, embedded video, contact forms, pop-up notifications/light boxes, chat bots, etc.
- Follow search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, enabling tracking/tagging for analytics and debugging complex cross browser CSS/HTML issues to meet site audit goals.
- Update functionality across websites for a better user experience, such as implementing third-party apps/plugins, site navigation/workflow modifications, adding/editing product search filters and products, site search functionality modifications, and improving page load speeds.
- Collaborate with content specialist, creative services, and digital marketing manager to implement front-end adjustments and additions.
- Possess an appetite for learning the latest technologies and propose solutions to improve backend and front-end website performance.
- Clearly communicate with the marketing team and stakeholders all website related updates from inception to implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in website design/development, UX/UI, or equivalent education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a web developer using coding programs such as HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce is required.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager is required.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), and Adobe Creative Suite experience is highly desirable.
- Experience using project management programs such as Monday, Trello, or Asana is desirable.
- Ability to effectively communicate on a deep technical level and in basic terms up, down and across the organization.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
