Web Developer

Job Description:

KIKO is seeking an experienced professional to work in accordance with the Company’s software development lifecycle to design and develop both new and enhancements to software applications that meet business specifications. This role will collaborate closely with the Marketing and IT departments to develop and optimize web solutions, tools, and systems that support the company’s digital strategy.

This is a full-time salary exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design application solutions that fully implement business requirements

· Develop high quality software code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines

· Produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code base

· Perform adequate unit testing of own and other’s application development work. At a minimum, unit testing should ensure all requirements have been addressed, all basic functionality works, and errors are handled properly

· Expeditiously troubleshoot application production issues that resolve the issues without causing additional problems

· Ability to manage projects and work independently, setting and meeting project deadlines

· Collaborate on cross-functional teams to create and document operational workflow

· Provide technical assistance to IT Operations Manager for special hardware or software systems required to implement new programs

· Collaborate with other departments to translate project requirements into custom built solutions

Qualifications:

· 2-4 year of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree preferred

· LAMP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS experience required

· Experience utilizing html/css and POST method to insert or update MySql tables

· Prior experience designing, developing and maintaining a custom CMS platform

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· Database administration experience preferred

· Notable time management and organizational skills

· Demonstrated knowledge of digital standards and best practices

· UX background preferred

Work Environment:

The work environment includes an indoor temperature-controlled setting with low to moderate noise level.

Hours: Monday – Friday TBD

Location: This position is onsite based in Canton, Ohio.
