As a Web Developer Programmer, you will provide web design/development and general application programming service. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
• Building, implementing and maintaining web-based applications according to provided specifications.
• Providing Intranet / Internet expertise and advocating the use of web-based applications, where the use of this technology provides a tangible benefit to the customer.
• Assisting Departments and Staff in the web-browser presentation of data.
• Providing general application coding services for projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prototypes, develops, and maintains Web Applications for assigned customers following specifications provided.
• Develops efficient applications that paint quickly and that do not impact server performance.
• Researches and installs Web server software and Web development software.
• Participates in team development of divisional standards for the use of Internet technology.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associate's degree in computer science or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Certifications:

• None required.

Complexity of Work:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

• Two years of experience in Web design and development is required.
• Azure experience is required.
• Experience could include both short-term and long-term projects.
• Experience in developing with HTML, JavaScript, Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Studio.NET, (ASP.NET, C#.NET), SQL, ADO, ADO.NET. Project management knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Additionally, graphic design experience with applications such as Fireworks or Adobe Photoshop
• Object Oriented is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
