JOB PURPOSE:
Our Web Developer works with the Web Development Platform Lead, Consumer Product Manager, Customer Product Lead, R&D Product Lead and various stakeholders to develop modern solutions in an agile environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to all aspects of the agile development life cycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations
- Help shape the definition, vision, design, road map and development of product features from beginning to end.
- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions
- Review and interpret shifting business report requirements
- Conduct technical research with recommendations for action into IT related topics: methodologies, software, operations, etc.
- Develops software and system support documentation and procedures according to Rust-Oleum standards, and Sarbane-Oxley legal requirements
- Modifies existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Coordinates installation of software system.
- Consults with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
- Report with customers or other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance.
- Prepares reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and status. Documentation of full process and code at each stage
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related
- 4-5 years of non-internship software experience
- Extensive programming experience in C#, SQL, CSS, React, TypeScript and NextJS
- 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Good time-management skills and great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
