The Job at a Glance:

The Senior Front End Web Developer is involved in all aspects of managing and optimizing the Credit Union 1 website. Working with various employees within Marketing, the Senior Front End Web Developer builds and deploys new product & campaign webpages. They work with Credit Union 1's web development company to define and coordinate new features, functionality and provide thorough quality assurance testing. While the primary focus is the CU1 the website, this position also manages Credit Union 1's email platform.

A Typical Day:

• Lead front-end development of the CU1 website, emails and other digital platforms.
• Conducts regular user testing and debugging of website and emails.
• Lead ongoing website maintenance and page creation; Including content and HTML/CSS updates, building landing pages, publishing alerts and back-end deployment support.
• Monitor and improve website health by auditing/QA website for page speed, performance issues and SEO.
• Utilize Siteimprove to identify and fix potential ADA (The Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance issues on a regular basis.
• Perform email platform administration (list maintenance, report creation and support, single email sends, etc.)
• Own, build, manage, and prioritize tasks and enhancements within our email automation roadmap.
• Optimize email templates and landing pages for mobile devices and different email clients to ensure consistent rendering and user experience across various platforms.
• Strategize with Marketing and other departments on new initiatives and product rollouts to create best in class digital solutions that enhance CU1's member experience.

What We Look For:

• Degree in either Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Website Development or 6 years of equivalent hands-on job experience
• Advanced knowledge of: HTML, CSS, responsive design, jQuery, Javascript
• Experience with Umbraco and/or similar content management systems
• Familiarity with Google Product suite
• Excellent understanding of SEO
• Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work within a dispersed team
• Strong verbal and written communicator and excellent collaborator that values building strong relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders
• Strong understanding and/or interest in website, email and other digital experience trends
• Some travel required.
