Responsibilities
We’re looking for a highly-motivated Web Developer to work on our Brand Design team within Marketing. The Brand Design team is responsible for creating and maintaining branded, digital communications for external Marketing efforts and internal communications. Through collaboration with a highly creative design team, this developer will help keep our Brand at the forefront of great design and web experience.
As a Web Developer you will get to:
- Research and apply new technology trends as it relates to the web development
- Stay current on technologies and concepts relevant to databases, websites, networks, code development, media formats, and State Farm technology guidelines as applicable to core project responsibilities
- Interface with internal business partners throughout various departments
- Work with business partners to analyze, define, and document business requirements
- Act as a resource on technical issues as appropriate and provides support for escalated technical problems
- Apply fundamental knowledge of web development to create, modify, and maintain websites with assistance
- Design, code, test, debug, document and support web development assignments
- Balance workload and timelines across concurrent project assignment
Qualifications
Highly desired skills:
- 5+ years of experience with modern front-end web development practices
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, and API's
- Strong understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Experience using Figma
- A rich understanding of accessibility standards
- Coding work within the Adobe Experience Manager platform
- Strong understanding of the digital design process
- Growth mindset
