Overview of Web DeveloperPurdue University Northwest is seeking a Web Developer. Working within PNW’s website design system, the Web Developer is responsible for adding features, troubleshooting integrations, and ensuring the web environment remains up to date, accessible and secure. A nimble full-stack developer, this technical role is responsible for writing well-designed, testable, efficient code using best development practices.

This role is also committed to continuous site improvement via user-experience optimization, A/B testing, web-accessibility review and analytics establishment and monitoring.Pay:$58,260 - $63,000Schedule:Monday - FridayDuties and Responsibilities of Web DeveloperWrite well designed, testable, efficient code by using best front-end development practicesContinually improve the university website through best practices, improved efficiencies and internal feedbackResearch web-related technologies to enhance the visual identity and functionality of the University web siteTrack efforts and improvements consistentlyUpdate the WordPress platform, plug-ins and installation, following a testing script through the Dev, Test and Live environments to ensure compatibility, performance and ongoing functionality (including custom elements and integrations)Offer guidance, solutions and support to units throughout the university to enhance their websites and supporting Marketing and outreach efforts.
