The Picker1 fulfills customer orders through quick and accurate selection of product and/or accurate packaging of customer orders for shipment. Helps ensure a proper and efficient flow of orders through the department
- Reads RF Scanner in order to quickly and accurately fill customer orders.
- Picks items listed on scanner and places into container.
- Verifies items picked match RF Scanner.
- Verifies location and product against RF Scanner.
- Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
- Meets or exceeds performance and productivity goals.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
The Packer readies customer orders through quick and accurate packaging of customer orders for shipment. Helps
ensure a proper and efficient flow of orders through the department.
Packer:
- Removes product from conveyor and places order on packing table.
- Verifies that orders are in good condition for shipment.
- Scan each carton (or bag) so it's manifested.
- After order is checked for accuracy, packs items into appropriate-sized cartons. Verifies the codes for catalog
associations. Affixes shipping label to top of box. - Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
- Must be able to operate a top carton sealer machine
- Must be able to operate an auto bagger machine.
- Meets or exceeds performance and productivity goals.
SCOPE
- Performs work under the close direction of production leads and supervisor.
- This position has indirect contact with the customer and has a significant impact on Winston Brands reputation in the marketplace and the satisfaction of our customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school education preferred or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum one year warehouse environment experience preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Physical activity includes regular standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing stairs and ladders. Extensive walking and working on elevated platforms.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 50 lbs.
