Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands...
As the Front-End Web Developer for Automatit - Global Solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to use your skills in common programming fundamentals, paradigms, and best practices particularly as it relates to the Web Platform.

What you will do...
- Create public-facing websites which are faithful to the design provided in design documents.
- Adapt desktop layouts to be responsive to screen/device width in a responsive web design pattern.
- Is able to speak of technical challenges and concerns in ways that a non-technical colleague or client can understand them.
- Find problems with existing development practices and is able to propose viable solutions to them.
- Author code which interacts with third party APIs and remote systems.
- Interact directly with the client to resolve requested updates/bug fixes.
- Conduct peer code reviews and communicates effectively any problems or potential improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation for existing practices and processes.
What we expect of you...
- 4+ years of professional experience in a related field.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and can innovate, design, and implement creative solutions and improvements to their codebases and platforms.
- Experience with at least one additional programming language (Examples include: C, Java, Python, PHP).
- Familiarity with code design patterns and how to implement them.
- Effective communicator with team members and stakeholders to meet the team's goals and project deadlines.
- An understanding of Web Accessibility (A11Y) concerns and how to resolve them.
- A strong motivation to continue learning and improve technical skills both in The Web Platform domain and outside of it.
- Competency with git and maintaining code repositories.
- Take pride in, and ownership of, the code they author, which is well-structured, readable, and implicitly maintainable.
