A Full-Service Law Firm is accepting applications for 2L Summer Associates in the Seattle, WA office. Please submit your resume and transcript to be considered. Qualified applicants will have strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and an interest in Corporate or Litigation work. Fox Rothschild's Summer Associate Program allows law students the opportunity to gain experience and legal training from Firm attorneys during the summer following their second year of law school.Essential Functions:
- Work directly with attorneys on a variety of substantive and challenging work assignments designed to provide exposure to the practical aspects of the legal profession.
- Conduct thorough research and assist in gathering all the data and information that is relevant to the client or case.
- Draft memos and motions regarding various areas of law.
- Draft substantive articles and client alerts to inform clients on legal developments in their industries.
- Review and analyze court decisions.
- Observe attorneys in trials, hearings, deposition, and negotiations, arbitrations, client conferences, closings, and other client-related activities.
- Participate in interactive training through workshops, webinars, presentations, department and practice area meetings, and general professional development programs.
- Receive mentorship by partners and associates of the Firm.
- Be receptive to guidance and detailed feedback upon the completion of projects/ assignments.
Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Must be a 2L full-time or 3L part-time law student at an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2026.
- Must be able to commute to at least one Fox Rothschild office for the duration of the Summer Associate Program.
