Water/Wastewater Operator 1 (2 Positions)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Level 1 certification in Water Treatment & Distribution and Wastewater Collection & Treatment is required.

Valid Commercial Driver's License Class "A" with Hazmat Endorsement required (subject to motor vehicle record review).

WATER TREATMENT:
1. Monitor, Evaluate, and Adjust Treatment Processes
2. Laboratory Analysis
3. Comply with Drinking Water Regulations
4. Operate and Maintain Equipment
5. Perform Security, Safety, and Administrative Procedures
6. Evaluate Characteristics of Source Water

WATER DISTRIBUTION:
1. System Information/Components
2. Monitor, Evaluate, and Adjust Disinfection
3. Laboratory Analysis
4. Install Equipment
5. Operate Equipment
6. Perform Maintenance
7. Perform Security, Safety, and Administrative Procedures

WASTEWATER COLLECTION:
1. Operate Equipment
2. Evaluate and Maintain Equipment
3. Maintain and Restore Collection System
4. Maintain Left Stations
5. Monitor, Evaluate, and Adjust Collection System
6. Perform Security, Safety, and Administrative Procedures

WASTEWATER TREATMENT:
1. Evaluate Physical Characteristics of Waste stream
2. Perform Security, Safety, and Administrative Procedures
3. Evaluate and Maintain Equipment
4. Operate Equipment
5. Monitor, Evaluate, and Adjust Treatment Processes
6. Laboratory Analysis
