Dash Beverage Distribution LLC located in Grand Prairie is currently seeking a warehouse associate to perform a variety of warehouse related functions, including operating a forklift to move pallets of product throughout the warehouse; Hand stacking product from partial pallets onto full pallets of product and other duties. Night shift as needed
Pay: $17-20/hour based on experience
Basic Function:
A Warehouse Assistant will assist with daily operations of the warehouse, replenishing, receiving product, managing inventory, forklift duties and assisting Warehouse Manager as needed.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Replenishment with Forklift operation
- Participate in the ongoing physical inventory of warehouse items and monitor inventory to maintain adequate supply of items.
- Receive, log and unload incoming freight shipments. Verifies freight against invoice and purchase order.
- Prepare and process BOLs accurately for outbound shipments.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly.
- Generate and organize outbound paperwork for shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Down stack mixed pallets, condense product with existing inventory.
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack and man lift.
- Check quality of product prior to pulling order. Report poor quality items to management.
- Effectively and efficiently handle truck loading and receiving.
- Stack, wrap and label pallets correctly for each customer to ensure proper routing.
- Assist in general office tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
- Handle inventory documentation and maintain accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all warehouse and paperwork-related Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities promptly.
- Utilize basic computer programs and software for data entry, inventory management, and documentation purposes.
- Comfortably navigate software systems relevant to warehouse and office functions.
- Maintains warehouse in a clean, orderly manner.
- Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Requirements
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum one year previous work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of Cavalier Distributing products.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to add and subtract, using whole numbers and decimals.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to process information/merchandise.
- Ability to communicate with supervisor.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
Physical Requirements:
