Summary:
To pull items efficiently and accurately according to customer order. Pull orders using a stock picker as high up as 30 feet in racking. Heavy equipment experience preferred, but not required. Frequent lifting / moving of office furniture items weighing as much as 250 pounds.

Hourly Rate: $19.35/hr with incremental pay increases during the first 12 months leading up to $20.35 hourly. Potential annual increases thereafter.
Standard Work Hours:5:00 PM - 10 PM (Flexible start time)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota as set by management.
- Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse
- Select orders by pulling, stacking and labeling product and bringing it to the staging area
- The employee is frequently required to lift up furniture items up to 125 pounds
- Will be trained on the proper safety procedures and elimination of potential hazards
- Basic navigation on the computer is required
- Use of RF scanning equipment is required
- General housekeeping of facility and specific product line area is required.
- Accuracy in repetitive routine is very important while maintaining good speed.
- Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials.
- Heavy equipment (Forklift / Order Selector) experience required.
Qualifications
- Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to insure proper retrieval of products for shipment, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to write legibly.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Work Environment:

- The employee is frequently required to lift up to 250 pounds. Must be able to move heavy product in excess of 1,000 pounds with moving aids designed to move such items including hand trucks, dollies, motorized cart, pallet jacks, etc.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
