Itemized Responsibities
- Respond to customers inquiries via phone and email.
- Track and trace freight at different customers and locations.
- Invoicing.
- Resolve customer issues by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Work with various steamship lines and/or freight customers release dates.
- Navigate through systems for problem solving.
- Daily monitoring of all systems activity related to customer orders, and shipments.
- Assist in the coordination to meet customer specific KPI?s (metrics) with leadership team.
- Respond in a timely and professional manner to internal and external customer e-mails, inquiries, needs, questions, issues, and concerns.
- Establish a solid working relationship / rapport with all internal and external customers.
- Prepare and distribute required customer reports on open orders and short orders.
- Update customer profile information/guides/SOPs for all assigned accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
