Job Description
- Drive/operate lifting equipment
- Mark materials with identifying info
- Takes data from contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions and accounting reports and enters information in computer to maintain inventory
- Open containers, off-load and check in loads
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, or shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or production code
- Sort and store goods in refrigerated rooms
- Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallet, move orders to loading station or in trucks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related education, experience and/or training
- Able to effectively use Microsoft Word & Excel
- Able to listen to instructions and follow them completely
