The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor (Day) is to direct and coordinate the receiving and storage of all BEK products to ensure the operational efficiency of the Division.
• Oversee the workload of warehouse personnel to ensure nightly replenishment has been completed.
• Monitor dock, selection and forklift operations to ensure consistent operational efficiency of the warehouse.
• Complete appropriate management tasks to maintain a productive and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure effective warehouse operations.
• Supervise duties for day warehouse personnel.
• Conduct performance appraisals, and recommend or initiate personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
• Schedule appropriate personnel training as needed.
Job Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of warehouse experience required
• Food service and/or manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines helpful • Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions
• Good computer skills; ability to learn internal applications
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot) • Good communication skills
• Ability to lead others • Self-starter with ability to multi-task
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused • Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); Bachelor's Degree preferred
