The AmplifyBio ecosystem is comprised of three distinct business units: ADOC (South San Francisco, CA)– Amplify's Discovery, Optimization, and Characterization laboratories: ASET (West Jefferson, OH) – Amplify's Safety, Efficacy, and Toxicology Site; and the most recently opened AMEC (New Albany, OH) – Amplify's Manufacturing Enablement Center.

About ADOCSouth San Francisco, CA. AmplifyBio’s discovery optimization and characterization unit (ADOC) establishes critical product characterization benchmarks, optimizes efficacy, and identifies new targets and strategies for clients preparing to scale up the production of therapeutic candidates. The site also houses GMP manufacturing suites, and quality control labs available to clients. Based on broad experience in cell and gene therapy manufacturing, this group seeks to address the widening gap between R&D and manufacturing CMC.

AmplifyBio is seeking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor (GMP)to join our growing team!

The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate and lead several aspects of our Supply Chain and Logistics operations. The Warehouse Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the GMP Warehouse, including shipping/receiving, receipt reconciliation, and maintaining accurate inventory throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a GMP setting, and an expert in receiving and inventory management, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and enjoy a fast-paced startup work environment.

What You’ll Do Here:

Oversee general facilities duties which primarily include, but are not limited to:

  • Delegate warehouse responsibilities and duties among team members.
  • Receiving, handling, and distribution of GMP and non-GMP materials according to established procedures.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the revision and development of new and existing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain procurement and receiving log by adhering to established workflows and procedures.
  • Plan and execute GMP sterile kitting activities to support planned production schedule.
  • Coordinate with Quality groups to ensure proper approval of GMP materials.
  • Escort clients, delivery personnel, and specialized equipment throughout controlled spaces as required.
  • Perform inventory control tasks: cycle counting, material restocking, and disposition.
  • Manage material allocation, expiry, kitting, and material condition requirements.
  • Process pre-packaged outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, promptness, and condition of shipments meet established standards.
  • Acting as an on-site Point-of-Contact for end-users regarding Shipping & Receiving support.
  • Safely utilizing pallet jacks and delivery carts to transport materials to GMP storage areas.
  • Following site-specific SOPs and work procedures.
  • Ensuring work areas are clean, organized, and safe using the 5S system.
  • Support with Deviations and CAPA’s.

We Would Love to Hear from You If:

  • General understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices (cGMP/GDP) in an FDA-regulated industry.
  • Must have 2 + years of handling GMP materials in biotech/pharmaceuticals industry.
  • 4+ years of experience in a material handler, warehouse, or related position.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • General understanding of sterile technique and comfortability around wet lab environments.
  • General understanding of inventory management and/or inventory controls.
  • Background understanding of biology, chemistry, medical, or clinical practices is a plus.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Experience using NetSuite and/or Prendio.
  • Ability to safely lift items, heavy packages, and carry short distances.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Office, Office 365, etc.).
  • High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. equivalent.
