This position earns a competitive wage of $24.00 to $27.00 an hour. MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable (LMA)
- Warehouse Operations & Safety
- Quality Assurance & Order Fulfillment
- Inventory Management & Process Improvement
- Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, and distributing garage doors, parts, and accessories.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to manage stock levels and optimize inventory turnover.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, including the proper handling of products, use of equipment, and adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize and fulfill customer orders accurately and within established timelines.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that products are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule timely deliveries and track shipments.
- Perform regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Investigate and address any product defects or discrepancies, working closely with the sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ year of warehouse, construction, distribution, or related experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills while striving to always work safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team to achieve maximum potential.
- Ability to always demonstrate a respectful and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
