POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager.
- Located in Lewisville, TX.
- Full-Time
- In Office
- Hours: 10am to 6:30pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan out all warehouse resources and activities in keeping with the Company's objectives and targets.
- Make plans for the development of the staff by organizing training sessions.
- Ensure all the health and safety requirements are met and also has to take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Maintain and issue several reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Implement cost reduction measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
- Create daily work logs and audit of daily labor and billing reports.
- Suggest measures of improvement and development of the warehouse.
- Motivate, supervise, and direct staff to make an effective and efficient team.
- Review all inventory restocking purchase orders with purchasing agent and approve.
- Review and discuss order points on a regular basis.
- Oversee supply needs for the warehouse.
- Maintain all vehicle records; preventative maintenance, tire wear, repairs, etc. (depends on location).
- Work with Inventory Control Manager to implement cycle count procedures (depends on location).
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Possess outstanding written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess demonstrated ability to function in a deadline driven, fast-paced work environment.
- Must have good leadership skills and take charge of the warehouse operations.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- OSHA approved safety shoes are required from the first day of employment.
- Ability to travel.
- Associate's Degree (or higher) in Commerce or Management or related field is required, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
- 5+ years' experience in a management role in the warehouse/commercial foodservice industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
