Position Overview:
Directly responsible for the operations of the ABO Controls warehouse facility.
- Managing the daily incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Packing and shipment of client orders.
- Proper organization and storage of valve products.
- Valve and actuator assembly and testing of valves.
- Providing support and quotes for specific client accounts.
- Organizing and filing shipping documentation.
- Supervising future warehouse employees.
- Responsibility to keep company current with the latest federal & state safety regulations for OSHA.
- Provide Best-Practice recommendations for process improvements and enhancement to system workflows. Improve work efficiency and safety for employees and warehouse environment. Develop new operating procedures and improve existing SOS (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Manage supply chain companies and equipment maintenance companies. Reporting of monthly requirements – fasteners, shop supplies, tools, service, crating and shipping supplies.
- Maintain facility appearance – organized warehouse.
Qualifications for the position:
- 4 to 5 years warehouse distribution experience.
- Inventory control – Skilled with controlling and tracking the inventory for accuracy. Computer inventory management and physical inventory management.
- Experience with managing and reporting minimum inventory quantities for reordering-replenishment of stock.
- Mechanical equipment technical skills. Experience with disassembling and reassembling valves. Testing valves.
- Possess a problem-solving approach to tasks that may be outside of company standard operating procedures.
- Energy – O&G Valve distribution experience.
- Client engagement- ability to communicate effectively with customers, identify their needs, and apply urgency solutions to customer requirements. Adapt and execute to make sure customer is satisfied.
- Capability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities to accomplish company objectives and client requirements.
- Proficient with operating a forklift.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of the position includes – frequent walking, bending, kneeling, long-term standing, and use of hands for a majority of the activities in the warehouse. The employee will have daily lifting requirements of up to 20 to 30 pounds. Occasionally, the employee will experience lifting up to 50 pounds.
Certificates and Licenses
- Fork lift operator certificate – can be completed when hired
- Valid car drivers license - clean driving record
Job Type: Full-Time Position
Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 annual salary depending on experience level. Annual performance bonus.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday – 8 hour days (Willing to accommodate some flex hours)
