NextEdge is currently sourcing a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Columbia. This individual will be an integral part of the business responsible for maintaining our warehouse and its functions.

Essential Functions
- Prepares equipment by pulling materials needed, setting equipment as directed, and moving product/sites to the appropriate staging/shipping area for the installation crews to pick up.
- Efficiently stacks and stores product/equipment in the appropriate areas.
- Prepares and stages product/equipment for outbound shipments using the appropriate carriers when necessary.
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product/equipment to the appropriate storage locations.
- Removes trash and cardboard when product/equipment is unwrapped, assembled, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Keep files and records organized.
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper warehouse management practices.
- Autonomously performing daily / weekly tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the warehouse industry.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

- Highly organized, self-motivated, strong work ethic and have a talent for multi-tasking.

Additional Responsibility
- Keep a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization of the warehouse.
- Manage inbound and outbound materials accurately.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor and team members to meet company goals.
- Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Work indoors & outdoors in all weather conditions
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full time position, overtime and weekend work may be needed
Travel
- On occasion for training or helping other locations as needed.
Required Education and Experience
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes preferred.
- 5 years of experience leading a warehouse in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems such as inventory software, databases, etc.
- High School Degree
- Forklift experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License.
