Job description

Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the US and the maker of Frazil, Frazil Energy, 100% Juice Frazil, and Café Tango! With nearly 30,000 machines in 49 states, we are leading the slush industry in every way!

Our warehouse and inventory team are responsible for managing over 600 SKUs in our 65,000 square foot warehouse. We recently expanded into an additional 45,000 square foot warehouse nearby.

With that change, we’re looking to add our next rock star to the team. As the newest member of the team, you’d be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of our second warehouse. More than that, you’ll be an integral part of launching this location from the ground up. This is a high-impact role with an immediate impact to the Frazil business. Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

This role includes both leadership and individual contributions. Each day will look different and include many of the following responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations including warehouse performance, people management, safety, vendor management, etc.
  • Overseeing the shipping and receiving teams and ensure error-free, timely, efficient, and accurate processing of products going in and out of the warehouse; coordinating shipping with carriers.
  • Partnering with senior leadership in the buildout and implementation of a warehouse safety program.
  • Partnering closely with the finance, logistics, machine repair, and sales team to complete daily tasks and meet cross functional business needs.
  • Managing compliance with SQF certification requirements.
  • Certifying new forklift drivers.
  • Managing communication with landlord and other warehouse related 3rd parties.
  • Optimizing warehouse and inventory related performance metrics.
  • Completing quality, inventory, and shipping/receiving audits.
  • Completing and processing warehouse and logistics documentation.
  • Completing inventory counts; investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving and escalating problems as necessary.
  • Completing 1-1's and feedback sessions with direct reports (full-time and temporary).
  • Managing staffing to ensure tasks are being completed timely and efficiently.
  • Coordinating inventory transfers with the other warehouse.
  • Attending leadership development programs including monthly training sessions and semi-annual leadership offsites.
  • Assisting with other critical operations projects as needed by Management.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A degree in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
  • Experience managing a warehouse or warehouse logistics team.
  • 3+ years working in a warehouse environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Current forklift certification.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time and crouch, bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs.
