Within the Scooters Coffee brand sits Harvest Roasting, which includes our warehouse, bakery, and roastery. Harvest Roasting serves as the supplier to all of our coffeehouse locations, including corporate and franchise owned, providing weekly product deliveries of the vast majority of products needed for daily business. For us, the focus is on quality; therefore, we handle all the roasting, shipping, baking, and packaging within Harvest Roasting.

DESCRIPTION

Planning, scheduling, and promoting the successful execution of all Grand Opening events. Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals. Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures, as it pertains to Grand Opening and new store transitions. Working with all management teams to improve and execute all warehouse and transportation functions. Leading day to day operations of Grand Openings, while interacting with customer service, AP, and transportation/warehouse leadership. This must be accomplished in conjunction with meeting the key performance indicators established by the Senior Warehouse and Logistics Manager, Director of Transportation, and our customer base.

LOCATION

This position will be based out of the Scooters Coffee Warehouse in Atlanta, GA area

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures, as it pertains to Grand Openings. All responsibilities are to be with the focus of Grand Openings in mind and at the forefront.
• Build and maintain interdepartmental relationships through understanding and meeting company goals.
• Reviewing and ensuring all administrative tasks are being completed daily at expected time and level of success.
• Understand and adhere to our customers dynamics, service expectations, goals, and initiatives as they relate to improving value for the Customer and Scooters Coffee.
• Interface with various departments such as billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, warehouse/transportation, and external vendors.
• Work closely with management to obtain and maintain a high standard of execution of goals.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a warehouse/fulfillment environment.
• Minimum three years of warehouse and project oversight experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and management ability.
• Skill in operating a computer terminal and satellite communications system required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

• Regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects up to 75 pounds frequently throughout a day
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, climb, kneel and crouch occasionally throughout a day
• Ability to hear, see, and speak within a loud environment
• Must have the ability to work in varying temperature zones, from freezer temperatures to non air conditioned temperatures in the summer
