We are a growing business located in Opa-Locka, FL, specializing in essential oils and fragrance oils. We would love for you to join our team!
Our expectations are that you will be dedicated, hard-working, dependable, and responsible. We are looking for someone to work full-time - Sunday thru Thursday (9am-5pm). Please provide a resume with application.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Operating a filling machine through a graphical user interface (basic computer skills required), and eventually troubleshooting and performing maintenance on the machine on your own. More experienced operators will always be present so you won't be responsible for troubleshooting initially, or expected to be familiar with similar machines, but you must be capable of identifying when adjustments are needed or issues arise. Experience with maintenance, plumbing or mechanics is a huge plus but not at all required.
Must be capable of following procedures for cleaning / cycling the machine and loading. Must be being able to read data from a fill list, confirm expected amounts of product, adjust/reprioritize as needed, and again most importantly be able to recognize when an adjustment is needed. There will be supervisors available at all times to assist until you are confident in your ability to do this.
The primary focus of the work will be on running the machine, with an emphasis on doing what is needed to keep production going, and attendant tasks required to run the machine (moving and mixing batches of oil the machine will use to fill product, keeping the work area neat with tools in their "home" location, and leaving the machine in a correct state at the end of the shift.) However, as needed you may be required to do or assist with other warehouse tasks, including but not limited to:
- Picking, packing, and labeling outgoing shipments to our customers
- Maintaining and cleaning warehouse routinely
- Other tasks as needed and skills allow
A successful candidate will have experience in a warehouse OR production OR manufacturing setting, and have the ability to quickly and efficiently produce once familiar with the process, while keeping quality at expected levels, and know when adjustments are needed or quality is not to par. A successful candidate will be punctual, hardworking, able to learn, and willing to grow within our company.
