Role Summary:
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling over 1,500 high-quality fans and blowers annually. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Assembly: Skillfully assemble blowers, motors, and accessories, ensuring each component fits precisely and functions correctly.
- Preparation and Planning: Carefully review parts lists to gather necessary components, subassemblies, tools, and materials, preparing for efficient assembly processes.
- Tool and Machine Operation: Utilize hand tools and machinery to assemble parts accurately, following safety protocols and quality standards.
- Documentation: Diligently complete all required paperwork, documenting assembly processes and quality checks to maintain accurate production records.
- Shipping and Packaging: Safely package products for shipping, ensuring they are secure, labeled correctly, and ready for transit.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality control checks on each product before shipment to guarantee compliance with specifications and customer expectations.
- Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, accurately count and stock them, and communicate the necessary paperwork to supervisors.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and inventory area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain work area and equipment, preventing malfunctions and extending the lifespan of tools and machinery.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to work harmoniously within a small team environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and contribute to a positive work culture.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proficient in English with effective communication skills.
- Skilled in manual assembly and operation of machinery, with forklift certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or knowledge in mechanics or electronics is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40h/week).
- $16/hr - $18/hr.
