I. Receive assignments at the start of shift from the supervisor.
II. Survey the lift at the start of each shift and note any equipment issues on the pre-trip inspection checklist.
III. Chock trailer and verify trailer jack is secure prior to loading or unloading merchandise.
IV. Ensure carrier in door and carrier on pick list or Bill of Lading match prior to loading or unloading.
V. Ensure 100% accuracy of finished goods order loading.
VI. Maintain cleanliness of plant.
VII. Practice and maintain safe conditions throughout the shift.
VIII. Report back to supervisor in what is deemed a timely manner when job duties are complete for the next assignment.
IX. Report 100% accuracy of inbound components during receiving process.
X. Ability to supply production lines with components accurately and according to company policy.
XI. Participates in all job related safety training and personally complies with all safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge/Computer Skills:
Basic computer functions, knowledge of WMS or other warehouse management system;
physical ability to handle pieces of freight that weigh at least 50 lbs.;
ability to drive a forklift and any other type of material handling equipment;
ability to work overtime when needed.
Education and Work Experience required:
Must be able to read and write in English.
Basic computer skills and good math, written, verbal and organizational skills.
Excellent hand –eye coordination required.
The ability to lift 50 lbs. Employee will be subjected to heat and cold.
Must have good working knowledge of GMP’s, SOP’s, and JSA’s
