Job Title:Warehouse Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Plans, directs, organizes, and controls warehouse activities for all warehouse operations. Responsible for implementing company operating policies and procedures that achieve a safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse operation.
- Daily review of warehouse documents, including but not limited to shipping/receiving logs, transfer orders, bills of lading and daily purchase orders to ensure that they are being updated into our computer system(s) within our given timeline(s).
- Takes proper action to correct negative issues and to prevent their occurrence.
- Train/Reviews warehouse team to ensure that they are following company guidelines.
- Drives efficiency, quality initiatives, and process improvements throughout the team.
- Highly skilled in GCSS-A.
- Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing computer maintenance and Army supply and maintenance operations.
- 2 years’ experience as a supervisor or lead.
- (5) years’ experience and knowledge of Army logistics business processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and GCSS-Army
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plans and supervises daily warehouse activities to ensure that shipping and receiving requirements/schedules are met as specified by the customers or the company.
- Implements and maintains processes to ensure timely and efficient support to production and operations. Ensures all processes follow government regulations and quality guidelines.
- Manages team of warehouse personnel
- Ensures accurate inventory, productivity of personnel, effective utilization of storage space and equipment, proper rotation of stored material and finished goods. Oversee and execute all inventory control procedures.
- Takes leadership role in staffing, discipline, employee evaluation, training, and professional development of the associates and leads. Reviews and ensures safety is our #1 priority.
