Warehouse Manager

Gilson Company, Inc. is currently searching for a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. Candidate would need to be reliable, professional and enjoy a casual, family owned, and rewarding environment.

Responsibility The Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the shipping and warehouse departments to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

• Proactively implement and monitor operational procedures.
• Establish acceptable levels of performance for personnel and mentor to exceed daily expectations.
• Lead, coach and direct to improve operational systems.
• Responsible for cross-training personnel.
• Oversee the execution of all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Create solutions that are a win-win for Gilson and our customers.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities to improve profitability.

Requirements:

o 3+ years of experience in shipping and warehouse management.

o Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, make decisions, and guide the organization toward operational goals.

o Ability to learn and understand transportation software systems and technologies. Previous ShipHawk and NetSuite experience is ideal.

o Problem solving abilities to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.

o Honesty and dependability.

o Excellent oral and written communication skills.

o Ability to adjust strategies or processes in response to dynamic business environments and unexpected challenges.

o A mindset focused on continuous improvement that involves constantly seeking ways to enhance operational processes and outcomes.
