WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A WAREHOUSE MANAGER
As the Warehouse Manager at Jetpack Shipping in Akron, OH, you will spearhead the daily warehousing operations at our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory management, material handling, cycle counting, training, development, and maintaining shop floor organization and cleanliness. With the guidance of the Director of Manufacturing and Production, you will lead a team across various shifts, ensuring seamless workflows and efficient processes. This role calls for someone with exceptional leadership skills and a keen eye for detail to drive excellence and innovation within our warehouse operations.
WOULD YOU BE A GREAT WAREHOUSE MANAGER?
To excel as the Warehouse Manager at Jetpack Shipping, you must have proven work experience in operations, supply chain, or warehouse leadership roles. Effective supervisory skills are essential, along with proficiency in warehouse software packages and Google Suite. The ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data accurately is crucial for making informed decisions.
A hands-on approach and commitment to task completion are highly valued, as is excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Your demonstrated capability to direct and coordinate operations, coupled with strong organizational and time management skills, will be key to success in this role. Experience in an FDA-compliant facility is advantageous, and a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields is preferred.
