WHAT YOU WILL DO: Be a Critical Partner. Have a voice. Lead.
- Manage a large, high-volume, multi-functional distribution center while upholding all distribution policies and procedures
- Plan, develop, and measure KPI goals and objectives for warehouse operations
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams to optimize service levels and cost balance
- Identify areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementation in collaboration with relevant departments
- Prepare strategic plans for future warehouse growth, focusing on capabilities and efficiencies
- Facilitate Customer Scorecard Management for various customer segments, including National Accounts, distributors, and E-Commerce customers
- Coordinate safety, housekeeping, and maintenance programs for the LaVergne facility and warehouse equipment
- Manage domestic inbound and outbound shipments, collaborating with Small Parcel, LTL, and Truckload carriers
- Ensure warehouse inventory accuracy and oversee performance and productivity of warehouse employees
- Serve as a project team member or manager as assigned by the Director of Distribution.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Energy. Drive. Focus.
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or minimum 10 years’ experience in warehousing/logistics required with five years’ successful experience as a warehouse supervisor/manager
- Experience with ERP, TMS, and WMS systems (SAP Preferred) and specific experience in parcel and LTL environments
- Knowledge of NAFTA programs, DOT regulations, CTPAT, homeland security, and transport regulations.
- Strong focus on meeting customer metrics and understanding of P & L
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma processes and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Adaptability to a challenging and evolving environment, with willingness to take on new responsibilities as the business grows
- 10% travel required
