We are a Retail Gift Shop, e-commerce, and full-service gifting company specializing in uniquely locally sourced gifts and curated products. Our mission is to provide customers with exceptional shopping experiences and deliver high-quality Made-in-Tennessee products right to their doorsteps that support other local businesses. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and oversee our warehouse operations. This is a unique opportunity not like any other traditional "warehouse" position.

Position Overview:
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. You will lead a small team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. You will report directly to the company's owners and work collaboratively as needed with our retail operations director and store merchandising manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through the warehouse.

Our warehouse is equipped with central heat and air, a full kitchenette, restrooms, office space, and more. It's located centrally to Nashville near the Fairgrounds. We currently have an all-female team, although not exclusively female by design. This leadership role is open to both male and female candidates that have a desire and ability to lead our existing talent and manage our warehouse operations. No prior warehouse experience or any certifications are needed. We will train you on all responsibilities of the job if you are willing and able. This is an ideal position for someone with retail experience that prefers a "back of house" role that will keep you busy or someone with administrative experience that prefers a larger variety of tasks and greater responsibility that comes with compensation growth.

This is a role that is on-site and generally requires a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Our business is exceedingly busier during the month of December due to Holiday gifting volumes. As our Warehouse Manager, we would ask that you have the ability to work additional hours as needed during the three weeks prior to Christmas and in return, we will provide additional compensation as well as additional time off during the rest of the year. We will regularly provide flexibility in your daily schedule when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and e-commerce customer service, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping of orders, answering phones, and customer notifications
  • Oversee warehouse inventory management, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Hire, supervise, and train all warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate order fulfillment and inventory fulfillment to retail stores as needed and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions as needed
  • Physically unloading and loading UPS truck and/or other deliveries on occasion.
  • Move and organize pallets and products for space efficiency and organization by expiration date
  • Manage daily schedule for internal delivery driver including local deliveries, store inventory drops, and picking up products locally.
  • Manage and assist with execution of warehouse team daily responsibilities as needed
  • Manage general maintenance and cleaning of building
  • Maintain a current understanding of all technology and equipment used by our team to operate and troubleshoot as needed
  • Manage relationships with external vendors as needed for incoming/outgoing packages or deliveries
  • Scheduling for warehouse team as needed and approval of all time off requests

  • Prior experience in e-commerce or retail distribution is a plus, but not required

  • Must have your own reliable transportation to commute to work
  • Must be physically able to operate a manual lift, a pallet jack, climb a ladder, and lift up to 75lbs as needed
