Job Summary:
This role will manage the daily operations of the Westside warehouses and carrier schedulers to support Trinchero's investments in employees, process, and technology within the ongoing constraints of logistics and fulfillment. This role will apply positive change by leveraging their functional competencies to mitigate risks for the business. This manager will balance customer centricity and what is operationally and financially possible. The overall goals for this manager will be in owning strategies and plans that deliver employee engagement and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:

- Accountable for the integration of processes and capabilities to drive productivity, employee engagement and customer expectations in the handling and storage of dry goods and finish goods
- Deploy both traditional functional expertise and develop new skills and competencies that deliver consistent, cost-effective, and reliable logistics infrastructure and scheduling services
- Manages the Warehouse Training Program
- Work with internal and external stakeholders in the digitalization of logistics and fulfillment
- Direct the performance of a full physical inventory as required by the Company's Inventory Policy
- Manage the maintenance and acquisition of all warehouse handling equipment and supplies
- Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the SQF Policy
- Manages and implements the required training of all team members and ensures adherence to all policies, procedures and governmental regulations.
- Manages and implements career planning and personal development of managers and staff.
- Manages and ensures annual performance reviews are effective and completed on time.
- Responsible for the selection of top talent and on the job training for new hires and coaching for top performance.
- Education: Degree in business/management preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years warehouse/distribution center management experience
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to supervise Shipping staff and resources in a safe, effective and productive manner
- Must have good organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision
- Able to interact effectively with other departments within the winery as well as outside agencies/vendors
- Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates' facilities
- Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
- Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
- Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipment
- Long and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shifts
- Extensive walking
Salary Range: $88,800.00 - $165,000.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
