Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Implement efficient inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies.
• Regularly conduct stock assessments and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee the shipping, receiving, and storage of event materials.
• Optimize transportation routes for cost-effective and timely deliveries.
3. Team Leadership:
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
• Organize and schedule warehouse team activities to meet event deadlines.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the warehouse.
4. Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with warehouse regulations.
• Conduct regular safety training for warehouse personnel.
• Implement measures to prevent accidents and minimize risks.
5. Quality Control:
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain the integrity of event materials.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
6. Efficiency and Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
7. Communication:
• Maintain open communication channels with event planners and other relevant departments.
• Provide regular updates on inventory status, logistics, and any potential issues.
8. Problem Solving:
• Address and resolve any warehouse-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Develop contingency plans to handle unexpected challenges during events.
9. Technology Utilization:
• Utilize warehouse management systems and technology tools to enhance operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement relevant technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Proficient in production planning and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to effectively lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
