Assistant Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility.

Role Overview: As the Assistant Warehouse Manager at Scentiment, you will play a vital role in managing the physical inventory and ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include efficiently fulfilling ecommerce orders, handling fragrance oil bottling, packaging, and shipping using various tools such as Zenventory, Shipping Easy, and Shopify. You will lead a team of warehouse associates and collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Plan and implement efficient workflows to optimize order fulfillment processes and maximize productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accurate stock counts through periodic cycle counts.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall functionality of the warehouse facility.

Ecommerce Order Fulfillment:

• Manage the packaging and shipping process for ecommerce orders using Zenventory, Shipping Easy, and Shopify.
• Coordinate order picking, packing, and labeling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of each order before shipment.

Fragrance Oil Bottling:

• Maintain proper documentation and records of batch numbers, expiration dates, and other relevant information.
• Train and guide warehouse associates on fragrance oil bottling techniques and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of bottles, labels, and packaging materials.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in leading and motivating a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and sales, to meet customer demands and resolve any operational issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement appropriate changes to enhance warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse management, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment.
• Proven experience in managing inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, such as Zenventory, Shipping Easy, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and order-related information.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team of warehouse associates.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
