- Complete warehouse operational daily requirements as directed by management, including, but not limited to receive materials and/or inventory; store materials and inventory; physical preparation and review of next-day and upcoming days’ installation service and transfer requests; verify all fulfillment orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness; loading materials to assigned sub-contractors; handle and process returned product.
- Conduct thorough, accurate, and daily inventory cycle counts and initiates appropriate actions to address discrepancies.
- Conduct daily and weekly safety warehouse assessments and maintain record log.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse which includes equipment and inventory storage.
- Operate warehouse machinery including forklift, pole lift, scissor lift, and pallet jack in a safe and effective manner.
- Adhere to all posted Federal and State requirements, and all Company safety and operational policies and SOPs.
- Maintain a clean and safe physical condition of the dumpster area of the parking lot.
- Report operational and safety discrepancies by working with direct management and executing necessary action items assigned.
- Report and correct inventory discrepancies such as receiving errors, picking errors, location (bin) variances, and inventory loss.
- Assist with training newly on-boarded associates, assignment of tasks, validation of accuracy in tasks, and other projects assigned.
- In the absence of a direct manager, may need to perform supervisory duties; ensure all associates are adhering to company SOPs and policies.
- Identify areas of opportunity by observing associates’ performance and providing feedback to the direct manager.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned or required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous high-volume warehouse experience.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and decisiveness.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate warehouse machinery.
- Knowledge of warehouse management.
- High level of internal and external customer service.
- Committed to maintaining an excellent attendance record.
- Flexible to work mandatory overtime when needed.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to move throughout the warehouse.
- The ability to perform the essential functions of the position physically and mentally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- The ability to report to work on a regular basis.
- This position will work in the warehouse of the facility and the noise level in the work. environment is usually moderate.
