Warehouse Lead

Core Roles & Responsibilities:

• Daily/weekly inventory control
• Right size inventory
• Communicate with leaders on needs
• Receiving

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinate deliveries to and from job sites.
• Verify counts and prices on shipments.
• Maintain computerized purchase order system.
• Assist in product and material research for technicians.
• Conduct regular safety training and safety inspections.
• Set individual goals and KPI’s for all staff positions with inventory responsibilities.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure that accuracy and safety goals are met.
• Show employees how their individual contributions matter to the company’s success.
• Communicate clearly, show recognition, and build rapport with employees.
• Monitor employee engagement levels and know how to promote a healthy and honest work environment.
• Control warehouse expenses.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly supervises 1-5 employees in the Warehouse Department.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Manage staff and drive them to maintain a safe and accountable workplace.

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE:

• Must have a high school degree or G.E.D. certificate.
• Must be able to work on a computer.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Must be able to talk and/or listen both on the phone or radio, and/or face-to-face for long periods of time.
• Must have good communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers
