It is vital that a potential candidate for this Warehouse Administrative Assistant position have 1 year of experience in a warehouse or retail environment. Steel toe shoes and vest are required! Must have a resume & interview with supervisor on site!
This position isn't your average office clerk job.
Here's what a day in the life might look like:
-75% of the day will be spent at a desk doing clerical work.
-You can expect to get your steps in with the other 25% because you will be collecting paperwork in the warehouse and accurately checking the movement of incoming and outgoing product.
-Shift is 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
-Craft and prepare vital documents for use of moving product.
-Log detailed freight information including damages, shortages, overages, etc.
-Produce documentation of type, quantity, and destination of freight.
-Use Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word and Excel.
