As a CommunityPharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Work Location: 650 North Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8hr shift between 8:00am - 7:00pm PST
Primary Responsibilities:
- Enter prescriptions and verifying appropriate information
- Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor’s offices to resolve claims issues
- Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
- Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
- Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
- Fulfillment of prescription orders
- Ability to interpret prescription orders and enter into pharmacy system
- Answering the telephone utilizing appropriate etiquette
- Documenting interventions and tracking outcomes with Pharmacy team
- Resolving customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nevada
- 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician including insurance claims processing, rejection, and resolution , and knowledge of laws and regulations in regards to scope of practice
- Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
- Able to stand for entire shift (8 hours)
- Able to wear mask for duration of shift, if required
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Certification (PTCB)
- Bilingual Spanish/English
