Primary Objective: Performs a variety of slab-handling duties associated with the warehouse.
Major Function and Scope:
- Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct PIT checks.
- May be expected to perform receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operates crane forklift equipment and overhead crane where available.
- Maintains the clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, general office maintenance, etc.
- May be required to perform Monthly Housekeeping Audit.
- May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
- Safe Slab Handling Procedures.
- Proper PPE.
- Safety Incident Reporting.
- Reporting unsafe conditions and acts to Management.
- Safety awareness in the customer viewing area.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator.
- 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety conscious.
