**Job Title: Warehouse Associate**

**Job Summary:**

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by performing various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Warehouse Associate will collaborate with team members to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Receiving and Inspection:**

- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.

- Record and report any issues with received goods to the appropriate personnel.

2. **Stocking and Shelving:**

- Organize and stock incoming products in designated storage areas.

- Maintain a well-organized and clean warehouse space to facilitate efficient workflow.

3. **Order Picking and Packing:**

- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order requirements.

- Pack and label items securely for shipment, ensuring proper documentation.

4. **Shipping and Documentation:**

- Prepare shipments by verifying order accuracy, packing items, and generating shipping labels.

- Record and maintain accurate documentation of outgoing shipments.

5. **Inventory Management:**

- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.

- Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) as needed.

6. **Quality Control:**

- Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues.

- Collaborate with supervisors to address and resolve quality concerns promptly.

7. **Equipment Operation:**

- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.

- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.

8. **Team Collaboration:**

- Work collaboratively with other Warehouse Associates, supervisors, and other departments to achieve operational goals.

- Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth flow of information and tasks.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Working Conditions:**

- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.

- Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- May involve occasional overtime and weekend work based on business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
