Warehouse Associate

Homans Associates is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. We proudly distribute the Mitsubishi and Bryant brands of HVAC equipment, as well as a full-line of HVAC residential and commercial parts, supplies and accessories. We have locations throughout New England, New York and New Jersey. We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Associate in our Commack branch. There is no relocation assistance for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties, including but not limited to: receiving, fabricating, order picking, packaging, and materials handling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and cranes.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and cranes.
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
