Job description
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and relevant order documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers, partner sites, and fleet management team to schedule pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve shipping-related issues and communicate changes to team.
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of orders, and reconcile orders.
- Maintain accurate records of received shipments and update inventory systems.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving and damaged stock.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock, monitor reorders, and generate reports as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the warehouse team, including data entry, filing, and inventory record-keeping.
- Assist in the creation of standard operating procedures for warehouse processes.
- Prepare/process purchase orders as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
HS Diploma or equivalent; additional training/certification, related experience, or degree in logistics a plus.
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting needed.
Proficiency in MS office and computer literacy required.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail wanted.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and work with a team.
Must also be able to prioritizes tasks and work independently when needed.
