Responsibilities:
- Organize Warehouse: Arrange inventory in a systematic and accessible manner to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval. Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from obstructions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts to accurately track stock levels. Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing shipments. Identify discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Item Tracking: Utilize inventory management software or manual tracking systems to monitor the movement of items within the warehouse. Ensure that items are properly labeled and tagged for easy identification.
- Unload Materials: Receive incoming shipments of plumbing supplies and equipment. Unload materials from delivery trucks and inspect them for damage or defects. Safely store items in designated warehouse locations.
- Restock Trucks: Prepare materials for distribution by restocking trucks with the necessary supplies and equipment. Coordinate with drivers to ensure that trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders.
- Assist with Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Retrieve requested items from inventory and prepare them for shipment or delivery.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure optimal functionality. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Adhere to Safety Guidelines: Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety training programs as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Familiarity with plumbing supplies and equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and inventory management software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
