SalarySUMMARY
At Generation Bee, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for all duties pertaining to the product life cycle within the Warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory along with picking and safely packing retail and wholesale customer orders. This position works from the Warehouse in New Lenox, IL. It reports to the CEO of the company and has no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold and respect all Generation Bee proprietary product information
- Responsible for the full life cycle of items (both inventory and packing supplies) within the Warehouse from initial receipt, quality inspection, cross checking order vs. invoice, and storage from shipping to order fulfillment
- Learn and utilize all available technology to perform daily tasks in all areas, including daily operation of Shopify platform and performing transactions within the Warehouse management system
- Maintain accurate inventory by performing proper transactions (cycle counts, item receipts, and fulfillments, and following the assigned operating procedures)
- Prepare all products physically for safe movement, storage, and shipment through the use of wrapping, proper packaging and crate fulfillment (crate fulfillment is twice a year for wholesale markets
- Perform regular quality control methods to determine damages or defects on incoming and outgoing products
- Apply and verify product tags, carton labels, and shipping labels according to internal management and external customer expectations
- Responsible for separating, organizing, and storing inventory in the most efficient method as identified by operating procedures
- Complete assigned daily duties, and self starting when things get slow while keeping Generation Bee safety regulations as a top priority
- Perform other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hard Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, highly motivated, outgoing, self starter, and attention to detail
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience: 0-1 years of related work experience preferred
- General Availability: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is expected to utilize team lifting techniques when lifting bulky items or items weighing over 50 pounds and up to 120 pounds.

Seeking a highly motivated, highly organized, self starting individual to be able to perform, but not limited to the following duties.
Must be computer proficient to be able to pack all incoming orders with the utmost attention to detail.
This individual will assist in product making/packaging/labeling.
Responsible for keeping warehouse clean and stocked at all times. ( Will need to track all packaging supply inventory to know when packaging materials need to be ordered and restocked)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs,

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
