POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for warehouse tasks including; inventory control, reports, loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, preparing flooring materials and forklift operation. Ensures efficient productivity by providing day-to-day warehouse operating standards. Knowledge and skills required for the understanding and processing of related logistic support, inventory control reports and documents. On Occasion will be local truck driver for delivery or pick-up of material.

SKILLS

• Ability to accurately count/track product that is being received or shipped.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• We provide training for Forklift and pallet jack certification.
• Understanding flooring installation and products is a plus (position requires cutting and preparing of various flooring materials).
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform responsibilities. Understanding of products, including application, safety and handling.
• Demonstrate intermediate skills with computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, Internet, and proprietary software)
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Language Proficiency: English, Spanish a plus

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Works in shop/warehouse environment. Work involves repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time. Work is of a physical nature and requires the incumbent be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead and/or repetitively.
• Ability to work cooperatively with customers and as part of a team.
• Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Must be eighteen years of age.
• Must pass the Drug Test.
• Must pass the Background Check, MVR and have a valid California Drivers License.

COMPENSATION

We offer our Warehouse Specialist and Driver competitive compensation. Upon meeting certain requirements we also offer benefits package including medical, vacation, sick time, and 401(k).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
