Job Summary/Objective
Provides administrative support to the internal Logistix Team, and excellent customer service to a diverse external clientele through email, phone calls, and in-person visits as needed. Assists with managing warehouse operations through dispatching and route maintenance to keep the independent contractors and drivers current within the market. Supports the Logistix Supply Chain Director by running various route reports to help identify opportunities for efficiencies, such as load-leveling and route restructuring, to stay competitive and responsive to the market.
Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

  • Provide phone and email coverage for various markets
  • Research missing parts or damage claims to resolution.
  • Research unlabeled pieces for return or delivery
  • Process returns for digital tracking
  • Provide dispatch management including data entry, route structuring, and mapping
  • Complete record keeping and filing in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintains current driver information and files, including background checks, new driver paperwork, and termination documents
  • Provide route and driver reports
  • Assist with the resolution of outstanding claims and invoices
  • Provide night warehouse coverage when needed
  • Run deliveries/route support when needed

Education
High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
Experience, Skills and Key Competencies
At least 2 years of administrative support and customer service experience is required, to include direct contact with customers via phone, email and in-person visits.
Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns swiftly and professionally
  • Engaging presentation skills, with the ability to effectively speak to and interact with various sizes/types of audiences in a professional and easy to understand manner
  • Able to effectively work in a fast-paced and changing environment with a high degree of independence
  • Can effectively use Microsoft Office application including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use the Internet as well as navigation tools including reading maps and directions.
  • Able to drive (or learn to drive) a box truck to make deliveries when needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Occasional travel for this position is expected, to make deliveries and provide support in other markets
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
