Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about the available food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and bartenders
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and clean dining area after guests leave
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in the food industry preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, kitchen staff, and other team members
- Basic math skills for accurately handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
