Vp/Director Of Finance

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim VP/Director of Finance to work with a reputable client. As a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics. This contract opportunity will also be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis.

Your responsibilities:

- Improve financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modeling accuracy

- Run the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes

- Adhere to the company's accounting policies and procedures

- Create reports on the company's key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders

- Collaborate with the executive team to develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for all aspects of the organization and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets

- Develop and sustain effective professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations

- Create detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials

- Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

- CPA designation or MBA highly preferred

- Minimum of 8 years' experience at an executive level role

- Must be skilled in analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution

- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact effectively and clearly in a fast-changing environment

- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

- Demonstrated high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
