Job Description
As the VP, Revenue Growth Management, you will hold a strategic position that is responsible for guiding and managing the Fortune Brand's Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team focused on developing strategic recommendations related to omnichannel pricing, promotional spend, trade investment, product assortment, and pricing administration across all FBIN global business units while reporting to the CFO & SVP of Business Unit Finance.
This pivotal role collaborates closely with our CFO and business unit Presidents. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the next phase of Revenue Growth Management, crafting and implementing a strategy aligned with our Fortune Brands Advantage. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Channel, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Technology teams to develop solutions supporting Fortune Brand's key strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or master's degree and 10+ years of experience in Revenue Growth Management concepts and business analytics with a large organization. You will possess strong leadership skills, deep data expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and broad financial and pricing acumen.
This is a designated hybrid role that includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our North Olmsted, OH or Deerfield, IL office. There is relocation assistance available for this role.
What you will be doing
  • Drive value creation through pricing, promotions, trade investment and product assortment strategy that leads to winning positions, delivering >$20M in profit annually by 2026.
  • Extended member of BU teams with direct support to the BU Presidents to ensure we have aligned strategies on Revenue Growth.
  • Develop, prioritize, and drive the RGM roadmap to optimize pricing, promotional spending, trade investment, rebates, and profitability of the 5 Fortune Brands BUs.
  • Ensure close collaboration and alignment with Finance, Sales, Channel, Product Management, Marketing, Technology, and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Guide end-to-end execution of RGM initiatives from ideation through end-state delivery to ensure on-time attainment of business results and transformative outcomes.
  • Ensure close alignment of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives with brand/business strategic goals across all channels.
  • Guide a team of RGM Managers and Analysts in the development of data frameworks, models, and dashboards to explore relevant pricing & profitability trends and generate actionable business insights (eg, elasticity of demand, price gaps, rebates, price quotes, return on promotional investment, etc.).
  • Leverage existing pricing and promotion technology tools to optimize broader pricing strategy
  • Guide pricing administration and IMAP compliance teams across Fortune Brands
  • Establish and guide RGM operating rhythm that augments/supports existing business processes (eg, monthly business reviews, annual financial planning, pricing adjustments, routine promotion performance assessment, etc.)
  • Guide the creation and maintenance of pricing and profitability fact base that may involve multiple complex internal and external data sets.
  • Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting reporting/dashboards to monitor the performance of key initiatives and ensure the attainment of RGM goals.
  • Create & publish recurring dashboard reports to the BU's on profitability and performance metrics
  • Translate unstructured complex business problems into well-defined projects, ensuring the team and broader organization are focused on solving the right problems with clear goals.
  • Provide pricing expertise and thought guidance to the organization. Identify, track, and communicate key pricing trends that could impact the organization.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the 5 BU Fortune Brands P&Ls and identify risks and contingency plans related to the execution of pricing strategy and tactics.
  • Guide, coach, and develop the RGM team. Manage the talent management process with an emphasis on building Fortune Brand's RGM capabilities; focus on succession planning and developing strong bench talent.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience working with RGM concepts (pricing, promotion, trade and assortment) or with business intelligence/economic data/or financial data analytics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a cross-functional team including Financial Analysts, BI Analysts, Line-of-Business Experts or Economics Analysts.
  • Experience developing solutions using large volumes of data and creating predictive models using advanced data techniques.
  • Must have problem solving skills including abstract reasoning, cause/effect analysis and innate curiosity.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and program guidance skills are required, including the ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple tasks/demands simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree or MBA.
